**Job Title**: IT Infrastructure Technician
**Location**: Hesketh Bank, Preston
**Salary: ** Competitive
**Hours: ** ** **Monday-Friday 39 hours per week. Occasional out-of-hours support.
GBA Services is a family business, providing logistic solutions for our customers whether that be by road, sea or air. We are currently located in 18 sites throughout the UK and Europe, and we are looking for a keen problem-solving IT Infrastructure Technician to join our business support team to
- Provide first line support with the system department’s ticketing system. Develop an understanding of GBA’s in-house developed systems in order to provide appropriate support. Provide IT support in a positive and polite manner to both internal and external customers. Setup and maintain company hardware, including laptops and mobile handsets. Work with the rest of the team to maintain the IT infrastructure. Undertake infrastructure asset management and audit of our configuration management database. Provide support with infrastructure projects. Provide support with development projects where appropriate. Support and troubleshoot end user equipment. Proactively monitor system equipment

**Your Qualifications / Skills & Knowledge**:
**Essential**
- BTEC Level 3 IT qualification / A level computing qualification- Good understanding of Microsoft Office, Windows, Windows Server and Office 365- Good understanding of LAN / WAN configuration
**Desirable** -
- 2 year’s IT support experience- Experience supporting Windows Server environments- Hyper-V, Active Directry, DNS, Azure, DHCP, Remote Desktop
- Experience using ITIL methodologies. Network maintenance, installation and fault diagnosis experience. Networking / Windows Server qualifications. Higher qualification in computer science or related area.
