**Purpose of the Role**
Reporting to our Estate Chef the aim of this role is **t**o support the kitchen team to keep kitchens running on schedule and within food safety **regulations.**
**Role Requirements**
- ** Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and **sanitised.**:
- ** Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of **shifts.**:
- ** Be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering **operations.**:
- ** Wash cookware, **utensils,** and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation**.**:
- ** Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries**.**:
- ** Help kitchen managers manage inventory by organising food storage and telling them when items need to be ordered.**:
- ** Receive and unpack all deliveries, ensuring all food and supplies are correctly placed.**:
- ** Keep the food and supply storage areas **organised.**:
- ** Help with routine food prep tasks when **needed.**
**We are looking for**:
A fast learner with an interest in hospitality
The ability to work unsupervised after being trained, in a busy environment.
Patience and cool headedness
Attention to detail and the confidence to communicate with people to make sure the kitchen is well organised and clean.

Shift patterns consist of eight-hour shifts working over five days of our seven-day week. As part of our training programme (whether that be as a new starter or continuous role related training), colleagues are required to take part in all shift patterns.
