Bernard Matthews Derby - Working at Magnavale third party warehouse - S42 5UY

**£11.00 per hour + Fuel paid through expenses.**

**Must have a valid uk driving licence and be able to commute**

4 on 4 off shifts 6:00am - 6:00pm

Key responsibilities:

- Quality Checking products that arrive into the Magnavale warehouse from Bernard Matthews Derby.
- Review the temperature of inbound goods and perform destructive tests for products.
- Keep accurate traceability logs for the quality checked products
- Approve stock to be released and placed into freezers
- Ensuring products that do not meet specification are placed on hold
- Escalate any issues to QA Management
- Temperature check defrosted material prior to date coding and sleeve placement
- Ensure labels and use by date on defrosted products are correct
- Temperature check products prior to dispatch from Magnavale

The person:

- Assertive, keen eye for detail, be able to multi-task and prioritise tasks
- Knowledge and experience in QA or QC is preferred but not essential
- Experience within a food production background
- Excellent communication and written English skills
- Able to manage own workload and use own initiative
- Flexibility is necessary
- The ability to build a strong sense of team ownership and maintain a high level of morale within the work force

- Level 2 food Safety
- Must have a full valid UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £13.02 per hour
