As part of our Personal Risk Services (PRS) Line of Business we insure High Net Worth Individuals. You should therefore have a high level of customer service experience and household claim handling experience.
You will be expected to support the PRS Claims team by ensuring accurate assessment and proactive management of claims. This should be carried out in accordance with the conditions of the cover, CHUBB Policy and Procedures and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for internal and external customers. Further more, you will independently handle a portfolio of technically complex and high value PRS claims within agreed pre-agreed authority limits.
3 office working days will be a requirement for this role, but flexibility will be offered on which days in the week.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately assess and evaluate a high volume of technically complex PRS Claims.
Identify complaints and recognise customer expressions of dissatisfaction to ensure such customers issues are handled, or escalated, in a timely, accurate manner and in accordance with the agreed Complaints Policy and Procedures.
Instruct, liaise with and manage external vendors. Monitor the quality and cost of their services, ensuring the required technical and applicable service standards are met.
Ensure personal adherence and continually maintain and update own knowledge of CHUBB Policy and Procedures and regulatory authority requirements. Demonstrate personal knowledge and awareness of compliance requirements and take personal responsibility for adherence to regulatory and compliance control mechanisms that are in place.
Maintain and develop both own technical knowledge and expertise, and CHUBB behavioural competencies in accordance with agreed personal development process.
Support, maintain and develop contact with key internal and external relationships, to include Underwriting, Actuarial, Broker and Key Customer Accounts for issues such as late notification of claims, case progress, and issuing specific insured requirements within SLAs.
Support and assist claims operational initiatives and projects as directed by the PRS Claims Team Manager.
Undertake all other duties as reasonably required by PRS Claims Team Manager that are applicable to this role.

**Requirements & Experience**:
Good standard of general education (including standard.
grades/GCSEs/Highers/A-Levels or equivalent in English & Mathematics).
Proven experience in a customer facing role within a Broker, Insurer or Loss Adjuster, independently handling complex and technically challenging Household claims of various kinds.
Have a good understanding of the insurance industry and be capable of embracing fair and appropriate outcomes for Chubb Insureds.
Customer services experience demonstrating a professional and high standard in customer care.
Awareness of Regulatory Compliance as it applies to the Insurance Industry
Experienced in MS Office Packages
ACII, or progress toward, is preferred but not essential
