Hathaway Academy is currently looking for an experienced HLTA to join their team to work across all secondary year groups.

**Key Responsibilities
- Preparing classrooms for lessons, including setting up televisions for video presentations and sourcing books and handouts for students
- Teaching classes unassisted when needed
- Planning and delivering learning and enrichment activities, either with Teachers or independently
- Working with small groups of students or individuals needing special attention
- Assessing students’ progress and discussing development with Teachers, parents, and Carers
- Consoling students who are unwell, injured or upset
- Supervising student groups on excursions and at sporting events

**Requirements
- Previous experience as a HLTA
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
- Must be able to provide a minimum of two professional references
