**HR ASSISTANT, IPSWICH TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB, PORTMAN ROAD. FULL-TIME - £22,000 - £24,000**

Ipswich Town Football Club is seeking an HR Assistant for a full-time role to support the HR Manager and team with a full range of HR issues & policy including recruitment/onboarding, contracts and ER engagement. Working in a small team you will developan oversight of all HR related matters throughout the club and become a point of contact for HR queries under the guidance of the HR Manager.

**Responsibilities**:
**Recruitment**:

- Take full vacancy brief from Managers
- Ensure compliance to process for vacancy sign off
- Comply with safeguarding Safer Recruitment process
- Response handle
- Organise/run interviews
- Ensure compliance with standard competency-based interview process
- Produce offer paperwork/contracts
- Take up references
- Ensure full compliance with legislative requirements re: RtW
- Carry out induction

**HR Issues and Processes**:

- Be a point of contact for any HR queries, issues or requests to discuss with HR Manager
- HR Generalist
- Assist with HR issues as directed by the HR Manager e.g. investigations/disciplinaries/exit interviews/grievance/sickness according to process

**Quality Standards**:

- Maintain daily 100% accuracy of HR files and Human Force system
- Produce reports as requested
- Be a "Super User" of Human Force system

**Training**:

- Update training files for all personnel
- Ensure all casual staff have completed online training prior to start

**Who are you?**
- You are working in a similar role as an HR generalist
- Team player
- Positive outlook
- You may be recently qualified as a graduate or CIPD Level 3 and or working towards Level 5
- Knowledge of recruitment and onboarding.
- You will be comfortable in a busy, fast paced environment, able to multi-task and thrive under pressure
- You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and be confident communicating at all levels
- You will be organised, be able to follow a process and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to multi-task and adopt a "triage" approach, understanding business critical issues and prioritising
