Be a confident role model demonstrating ensuring high standards of infant feeding is effectively delivered to families by staff through the UNICEF BFI UK programme

Be calm confident and assertive in emotionally demanding situations

Have excellent communication skills

Support the development of of a progressive culture which is open to and empowers innovation, creativity and learning

Help to provide a service which values, respects and strengthens the differing cultures and backgrounds of the families using our service and to adopt a friendly, supportive and non-judgemental approach to staff and families

**You will**:

- support the implementation of the Baby Friendly Standards
- support the infant feeding support workers where infant feeding falls outside of their remit
- take part in the training and audit programme
- undertake quality improvement projects
- attend external and internal meetings as required
- Support the infant feeding coordinator
