**Revenue Clerk
- Nottingham-Hybrid working -23,000-£25,000**
Chase and Holland are proud to be working with a well-established law practice in Nottingham. Our client has legal teams who are responsible for providing an excellent service to their clients, along with a billing and credit control department which is responsible for ensuring that these services are charged for. We are looking for someone who can communicate with both of these teams and can ensure that payments are pursued in agreed upon timescales. Experience of working in a legal setting within a similar role is essential. This is a role which will offer great benefits, including private healthcare and hybrid working.

**Revenue clerk responsibilities**:

- Communicating with the fee earners to ensure that their balances are managed, and any outstanding payments are obtained
- Working with clients to ensure that billing structures are understood and agreeing timescales that these billings are to be paid in
- Outlining timescales for when payments should be obtained and passing these timescales along to the credit control teams to ensure payment recovery
- Following payments to ensure that a list of outstanding payments is obtained

**What we’re looking for**:

- Must have worked within a legal company in a similar role
- Must be IT literate with experience of using the Microsoft suite
- Knowledge of credit control or capital management would be seen as beneficial
- Experience of using a range of finance packages would be seen as beneficial
- Work well within an office environment
- Be able to follow deadlines and ensure that a high quality of work is completed within these deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication

**Hours**:

- Full time Monday to Friday
