**What you'll be doing**:
You will be an integral part of the Procurement function, in the delivery of the contractual and project initiatives activity. You will support the development and fulfil category strategies that are aligned with key senior business stakeholders. You will support and deliver best practice contract and supplier management, procurement industry best practices approach maintaining compliance to governance procedures, drive value for money commercial decisions, and manage and mitigate supply chain risks to the business. You will play a role within Yodel's Procurement function providing vital support to all team members. In addition to these duties, you will be responsible for the following:

- Support the drafting/execution of procurement sourcing strategies, RFx's/ITN's, assessment methodologies, business cases, position, and recommendation papers for internal stakeholders, whilst keeping compliant with internal policies, regulations, and governance procedures
- Support and input into third party risk management (TPRM) monitoring and measurement of ESG and Ethics performance
- Will be responsible for engagement with key stakeholders across the business and ensuring timely delivery on various projects that will be allocated across the third party spend categories and meets the expectations of the business.
- You will support and input to the wider team, ensuring safe delivery of the overarching procurement strategy across the entire third-party supply chain.
- Develop good working relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor/benchmark the supply market to identify potential new suppliers and products and meet with suppliers to understand their products skills and experience.
- Identify and track commercial benefits, and risks following the implementation of category strategies and procurement activity.
- Provide support to all team members within the procurement function and will ensure project initiatives, reported savings, risks and contract re-lettings are recorded accurately and kept up to date in line with the Procurement Governance reporting suites.

**What you'll get out of it**:
You will achieve the L4 Diploma in Procurement & Supply with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS). Completion of CIPS L4 gains eligibility for equivalent membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS). CIPS L4 is a pre
- requisite for MCIPS (L6) and the full professional licence and offers the potential for Chartered status.

**The opportunities it leads to?**

You will gain a thorough understanding of Commercial Procurement and Supply. A natural progression upon completion of the scheme would be to move into a Buyer position within Yodel. These roles come with a competitive salary depending on experience.

**The entry requirements**

5x Grade 9-4 (A*-C) Grade GCSEs (must include English & Maths).

Qualifications: Prior to the end-point assessment there is a requirement to achieve, if not already:

- Level 2 (4-9) qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE equivalent)
