We’re looking to recruit a **full-time, permanent Marketing Assistant** to join the growing marketing team at our Head Office in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Reporting to the Group Head of Marketing and working alongside the Group Marketing Executives, you will be supporting the delivery of the Group’s marketing plans and will actively work with other departments across the Group.

Automotive retail is going through an exciting period of change, this role offers **the opportunity to work for a forward-thinking family business** and play an important part in its ongoing digital transformation.

The salary for this position is **between £17,000 and £22,350 per year, depending on skills and experience**. The working hours for this role are 8.30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. We are also **happy to discuss flexible working arrangements** that work for both you and us.

**The responsibilities of this role include**:

- Adding and editing content to the Group’s website using our content management system.
- Regular reviews of the Group’s websites to identify issues or inaccuracies.
- Identifying and reporting website and other system issues to third-party system providers.
- Liaising with external agencies, including the regular sending of data for reporting purposes.
- Sourcing, creating, and editing imagery as required for a variety of uses.
- Updating the Group’s customer databases to ensure the data contained within them is correct.
- Helping create content for, and post content to, the Group’s social media platforms.
- Monitoring and responding to customer feedback on various review platforms.
- Assisting with creating content for the Group’s YouTube channel and other social media platforms.
- Helping with the planning and implementation of events.
- Other administrative duties related to the marketing function of the business.

This role will grow and develop over time, **giving you a wide range of experience a**nd offering the opportunity to **take on extra responsibilities** as your skills and experience grow.

Work experience:

- Previous experience is not required. However, a desire to build a career in, and have a passion for, marketing is essential.

Required skills and abilities:

- Proven excellent written skills.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
- The ability to work quickly and accurately, sometimes to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work unsupervised on regular tasks.
- Ability to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality.
- High levels of computer literacy.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.

Desirable skills and abilities:

- A full UK driving licence.
- Experience of photography and/or videography as well as photo and/or video editing could be useful as the role grows.
