The successful Disrepair Surveyor will join their Disrepair Team, managing a range of housing condition claims and complex complaints cases. You will provide specialist repairs and maintenance guidance around complex matters using your surveying expertise and help minimize liability to housing legal disrepair claims.

**Key Accountabilities**

Managing complex disrepair cases from beginning to end ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner.

Undertaking desktop and property defect inspections, offering advice, and specifying the work to be carried out.

Preparation of high-quality reports and specifications.

Raising works.

Ensuring all legal reports, documentation, data and supporting evidence is collated and responded too within agreed timescales.

Using your building knowledge, surveying experience and knowledge of contract law to resolve issues and complaints raised by customers.

Working alongside and liaising with external contractors to deliver timely, high-quality rectification works whilst ensuring value for money.

Successfully liaising with a wide range of key external stakeholders including solicitors and the local authority.

Must have sound knowledge around causes and remedies of damp and mould.

Managing housing condition claims and/or complex complaints.
