Senior Quantity Surveyor for EFW renewable position in Witham
**Your new company**
We have an opportunity with a global market leader in energy from waste (EfW) and renewable gas. Acting as an engineering, procurement and construction contractor and project developer, delivering complete turnkey plants and system solutions for thermal andbiological EfW recovery. They combine their own research and development with comprehensive manufacturing and erection capabilities to support clients throughout the entire life cycle of their plant.
**Your new role**
- To be based in Rivenhall, Essex
- Develop and issue sound, accurate cost reports, showing financial position of the package and forecast commercial status, including interface with CAPRI and SAP.
- Identify trends that could require action.
- Participate in or run regular technical and commercial site meetings.
- Administer the subcontracts. Maintain comprehensive records. Prepare and ensure that contractual correspondence is maintained, and their contractual position is protected.
- Measurement and valuation of works from a desktop and physical perspective.
- Administer payment procedures in accordance with the contract and applicable legislation and issue respective documents correctly and in time Report on commercial risks and opportunities.
- Leads commercial negotiations and account meetings.
- Support Contract Manager in the establishment of documentation for insurance purposes.

**What you'll need to succeed**
Quantity Surveyor with 10+ years' experience
BSc / MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Experience in construction of industrial plant project delivery
Proficient with standard form and bespoke contracts. FIDIC an advantage
