Grill Cook

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grill Cook to join our team at café Chambers, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook grilled items, such as pancakes. A huge breakfast and pancake menu and brunch items, according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure that all food is cooked to perfection, following proper cooking techniques and temperature guidelines
- food preparation tasks,
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitor inventory levels of grilling ingredients and notify the supervisor when supplies are running low
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating grilling equipment

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting as a Grill Cook or similar role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and grilling methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of grilled items
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
