Junior Direct Sales Representative

OEC provides software solutions to those who work in the automotive parts and repair industry. Our solutions make it easier for automotive industry professionals to buy and sell parts, conduct repair research & planning, optimize estimates, improve the parts supply chain, and more. OEC partners with many of the world’s largest manufacturers, dealers and suppliers, shops and repairers, and service providers, giving our customers access to a comprehensive network and a streamlined workflow.
**Job Summary**
Manages assigned customer accounts, and supports and manages sales activities via OEC’s Collision parts program. Maintains relationships, overseeing the sales process, and acting as a point of contact for allocated customers. Secures commitments from repairers to engage in the program, which supports various Vehicle Manufacturers in the sale of genuine parts. Maintains working knowledge of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts catalogues, as well as other industry intelligence.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Educating repairers and dealers contact(s) about the PartsBrokerDirect service and benefits.
- Ensuring consistent communication with customers to increase revenues through strong relationships, implementing best practices.
- Managing sales within a territory and supports the team.
- Securing commitment from repairers to engage in the programme, which supports various Vehicle Manufacturers in the sale of genuine parts.
- Maintaining working knowledge of OEM parts catalogues, as well as other industry intelligence systems to overcome objections.
**Experience, Skills and Key Competencies**
- Prior experience utilizing a computerized customer database and/or experience within the automotive industry, parts sales, field sales.
- Result-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational/time management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Any additional training through a vocational school that is related to automotive parts and service - nice to have.
- Fluent English speaker with legal right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work in hybrid mode from our Newbury office.
