**Salary**: £21,030 - £22,469 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Services Assistant within the Information Services Department at Cardiff and Vale College. This role will be based across campuses.

Reporting into the Information Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing support for all aspects of the department including the following:

- To perform general office duties, including enrolment of students and general enquiries from staff and students, as and when required in particular during enrolment periods of high workload or staff absence.
- Assist with face to face enrolment as required throughout the year.
- Update the central student system to ensure all withdrawn/transferred learners are no longer active on their course, and that completed learners are processed accurately.
- Amend college timetables and e-registers on the central timetabling system.
- Ensure that all e-registers are marked in a timely manner and report any unmarked e-registers to a Curriculum Business Manager. Perform spot checks to ensure that the registers match the learners in classes at least once a term.
- Update e-registers with any cancelled classes, or classes covered by other teaching staff.
- Welsh language skills would be desirable for this post.

The successful applicant will have a sound educational background or demonstrable commensurate experience. The ideal applicant must have a successful track record of delivery within the further education sector and have the ability to communicate complex issues to a wide range of audiences.

Your employment with Cardiff and Vale College will also be dependent on suitable reference checks, before you are able to commence employment, Cardiff and Vale College must have received two references, one being from your present or most recent employer. We will contact your referees upon appointment.

Registration with the Educational Workforce Council for Wales (EWC Wales) is a mandatory requirement of the post
