We are looking for **Project Engineers** with knowledge on all sectors of the **steel work industry** work including commercial, industrial, mining, nuclear projects etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Detailed Project Level management of projects and team members as assigned by the Engineering Management / Engineering Director
- Detailed level management of both internal and external resources as employed on assigned projects.
- Detailed level responsibility for Cost, Programme and Quality of assigned projects reporting to Engineering Management team and Project team
- Liaison with the Client / Client’s Engineers / all other Departments / Group Companies.
- Detailed level management of engineering programme (Pre & Operational Engineering in terms of both Design and Detailing) including timely issue of calculations and drawings and progress through the approval process, if appropriate.
- Attendance of Site / Client Meetings as required.
- Site visits, inspections as required.
- Project Status reporting in terms of schedule and budget to Engineering Manager
- Managing both you’re and your teams time to meet agreed programmes and schedules as the project requires.
- Ensure that all incoming / outgoing drawings, calculations, and documents are systemised, logged and distributed to all required parties
- Process and manage TQ’s / RFI’s / ITQ’s as necessary, to meet the requirements of the project
- Good appreciation of all processes from a fabricator’s perspective, including detailing, manufacturing and erection.
- Supervision, mentoring and on the job training of other team members.
- Compliance with all internal documents such as Technical Guidance Notes, Work Instructions and Quality Management Systems, as well as industry standards such as NSSS.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified to degree level or equivalent with a detailed knowledge of the Steel Industry
- Ability to work consistently and accurately, to deadlines, to meet the demands of a manufacturing business
- Be the Technical lead on projects
- Be the lead and focal point of all aspects of the Engineering process on a project.
- Excellent Engineering judgement.
- Proactive and methodical approach to problem solving
- Good interpersonal & communications skills
