Role: Financial Controller
Location: Bridlington

**Salary**: £65k + car allowance and bonus
Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, the role would ideally suit a qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) accountant with strong technical and analytical skills (including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel) and experience of working in industry (previousexperience of working within a group environment and construction and / or manufacturing experience is desired but not essential).
This role will appeal to an accountant who likes a 'hands on' position as it will involve significant communication and analysis of all business areas and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
? In conjunction with the Divisional Finance Director, the Financial Controller is responsible for the preparation of the Company's reporting including:

- Monthly management accounts and variance analysis for submission to both the Company's board of directors and the Group finance team for incorporation in the Group's consolidated accounts.
- Monthly cash forecasting and reporting.
- Quarterly profit forecasting.
- Annual budget including setting of departmental budgets with assistance for departmental heads and monitoring of those costs.
- Annual published IFRS statutory financial statements.
? Deputise for the Finance Director when required.
? Continuous improvement of the financial processes and procedures required to support the development of the business including improving internal control process and procedures.
? Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by the Company's board and Group finance team.
? Liaising with finance teams from other Group companies.
? Liaising with auditors, bankers and external advisors.
