Cambridge, United Kingdom Revision Recruitment Ltd Full time

My client are an internationally renowned manufacturer of complex parts for a variety of sectors and industries.
With sites across Europe, and a large production facility based in Cambridge, they are ideally placed to continue their growth through investment in both facilities and R&D over the coming year. Investment in the UK business means a move to a new facility andthe expansion of its manufacturing team to help capacity going forward, a move which will enable the business to further establish itself as a market leader and an employer of choice in the area.
As electrical biased Maintenance Engineer, your role will be to provide preventative maintenance and servicing of bespoke manufacturing machinery in a highly technical production environment.
Working closely with the wider production, manufacturing engineering and planning teams, you will undertake a range of tasks - ranging from reliability focussed servicing to high pressure repairs and maintenance on a daily basis.
Your day to day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Preventative and Reactive maintenance of production machinery
- Electronics calibration
- Parts and Spares ordering and management
- Maintenance related administration and recording
- Build, commission and test new or relocated equipment in line with company requirements
- Assist other departments in their need for engineering related support
Ideally you will have 3-5 years experience in a similar role within a multifunction manufacturing environment. A background in clean room or high tech manufacturing would be preferred, but not essential. however what is essential is the need for the successfulindividual to have experience of repairing and maintaining both new and legacy equipment, usually bespoke and often 'one offs'. Engineering qualifications are essential, with C&G/HND/apprenticeship the preferred educational path - ideally with electrical orelectronic engineering. Skills must include PCB test and repair, soldering and wiring, electro-mechanical assembly and repair. A background in such things as electrical wiring, mechanical assembly and product testing is also preferred. Excellent communicationskills, both written and verbal, are required as reporting and document management are part of this role.
My client offer a great salary and personal package, including bonus, pension, life insurance and income protection.
