Currently, my well-established client who is based in Congleton is looking for a welder due to their continued success.
Are you the Tig Welder my client is looking for?
- Salary: £16.50 p/hour- Location: Congleton- Duration: Permanent/ Full time- Working days/ Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:30 (36 hours per week)**Responsibilities of the Tig Welder,**
- To undertake work as instructed by the works manager or Site supervisor, in accordance with the Company's activities and incumbent's skill profile. I.E. Welding.- To attain the required welding codes to enable specified work to be undertaken, this required during probation period.- To undertake said work in a manner that maintains the company's policy on Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.- To undertake said work in a manner that maintains the company's policy on quality- To ensure as far as is practical that all work carried out is completed on time and within the estimates specified.- To assist the supervision and management of the company suggesting and recommending where appropriate, improved methods of work, encompassing procedural and equipment.- To complete the necessary daily administration, (Clocking in / out,- Timesheet, consumable requests etc.,) relative to work in progress or completed.- To undertake skills training to meet the requirements of the company in welding, fabrication and machining.- To ensure that working areas are maintained, in a clean & tidy condition.- To undertake alternate duties, as may be decided and agreed, from time to time.- To represent the Company in a manner deemed appropriate.- To ensure that each site is left in a manner acceptable to the customer, adopting appropriate disposal practises.- Overseas work when necessary.**Requirements for the Tig Welder,**
- Extensive knowledge of welding.- Comfortable in with working in confined spaces and at height.- Previous cylindrical welding experience is desirable.- Pipe work experience is desirable.- Versatile skillset.- Knowledge in either fabrication, fitting or machining.**Benefits,**
