**Full Job Description**
We are looking for a Football Coach Apprentice to join our team to develop the football element and understand its impact on current and prospective students.
**About us**
DNA Ltd provides expert football coaching for 5-18 year-olds. DNA Academy is based on a coaching model that helps boys and girls of all abilities to grow, develop their skills and to reach their full potential. Our sessions will include four key attributes that are vital for any developing young footballer: Physical, Technical, Psychological and social elements. We will help children to develop more than just their football skills, we’ll help them gain confidence, build self esteem, learn to work as a team and improve their decision making.
**What you will be doing**
- Helping to coordinate and standardise players fitness testing across centres
- Attending and providing an input in Football Development Meetings where required.
- Developing and maintaining new footballing relationships with identified partners, schools and clubs.
- Assisting the head coach of football programs.
- Assisting in designing a training program or game program
- Assisting the head coach and other coaches that football training/matches are probably implemented.
- Ensuring that health and safety precautions are observed during all activities.
- Immediately reporting all major injuries incurred during training practice or competition to the head coach/medical personnel.
- Keeping abreast of new information, innovative ideas and techniques.
- Obtain advance approval of the head coach and team manager on any decision that pertains to DNA Academy.
- Reporting adequately player's misconducts to the head coach.
- Presenting, promoting and selling company services using solid arguments to prospective customers/ clients.
- Establishing, maintaining and developing positive business and customer relationships.
- Supply management with reports on customer’s needs, issues and interests.
- Bringing ideas on how we can develop DNA Academy.
- Assisting in designing a training program or game program
- Assisting the head coach and other coaches that football training/matches are probably implemented.
- Maintaining good public relations for DNA Academy
- Ensuring that health and safety precautions are observed during all activities.
- Keeping abreast of new information, innovative ideas and techniques.
- Reporting adequately player's misconducts to the head coach.
- Bringing ideas on how we can develop DNA Academy.
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns
**Requirements**:
Applicants need to be aged between 16 -28. Access to own transport/willingness to gain a licence is preferred.
Must be reliable with strong time management skills. Applicants must also be self-motivated and have a passion for sports coaching and inspiring young people through engagement and participation in physical activity and sport
**Schedule**:
Monday, Thursday and Saturday
**Contract Length**: One Year
