0830 -1700 - 2 days per week. Days are course dependent.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Objective

To deliver and assess high quality course in accordance to standards set by Focus Fitness, Awarding Organisation and Inspection expectations giving learners a memorable and effective learning experience

Main duties & responsibilities
- Correctly complete registration documents at the beginning and end of each session and report accurately on the attendance and progress of learners
- Ensure full compliance with planning and evaluation requirements including lesson plans and schemes of work. ensuring that differentiation strategies and techniques are employed in all sessions.
- Thoroughly guide learners through their portfolio enabling them to complete units accurately and on time
- Contribute towards the management of learning programmes and to ongoing curriculum development.
- Accurately track all written assessments and practical assessments and collate evidence of student achievement for verification.
- Provide accurate verbal and written disciplinary actions to learners if required, in a timely fashion.
- Act as the first step in the appeals procedure correctly and fairly if called upon to do so.
- Professionally and positively represent the FFUK at all times.
- Ensure all relevant administration and audit files are recorded and maintained as required.
- You will be required to cover courses and do assessments as an when required in line with business demand.
- For IV/QA qualified workers - you must conduct IQA duties in line with the QA systems;
- Ensure that you are completing timely samples
- Ensure one to ones are being conducted with your allocated assessor
- Attend the scheduled IQA meetings
- Monitor learner’s ISP’s
- Ensure ILP reviews are actioned as per the timetable.
- Ensure ILP paperwork is completed.
- Attend and contribute to standardisation sessions.

Key Deliverables

- Report any Safeguarding issues to the Lead or deputy safeguarding officer ensure you follow the safeguarding policy procedures.
- Ensure the safety of your area by complying with all Health & Safety policies and procedures and reporting any issues to the Health & Safety Manager without delay.
- Actively participate in SAR and QIP activities.
- Contribute to QIP improvements to improve the quality of the provision.
- As part of improving the quality of the provision Learner walks and interviews will need to be conducted, when instructed to do so by your Line manager.
- As part of the teaching team you will be required to do Peer to peer observations.
- Also if qualified or in training you will be required to undertake IQA activity when instructed to do so by your Line manager.
- Ensure at any appropriate time to promote British values and prepare learners to work in modern Britain.
- Collating information and creating formal reports for managers as required
- Positively represent FFUK venue’s and office at all times.
- Work effectively, efficiently and flexibly as an effective and committed member of the overall team and within the department team.
- Manage work efficiently and effectively to ensure achievement of individual and team targets.
- Provide effective communication in a professional manner and one which is both informative and conducive to maintaining the high reputation within education and industry.
- Adhere to all established systems within the department and implement any changes only as requested/authorised by management.
- Maintain accurate tracking systems as required within the department and ensure that all work meets audit and inspection requirements.
- Ensure accurate record and data entry onto all systems as required by the department and management to enable accurate and full reporting.
- Attend meetings as required to maintain knowledge and contribute to improvement of services.
