**The Opportunity**

This is an opportunity to work within our Transport Consulting team based out of our brand-new Birmingham office, leading on the delivery of projects and future growth whilst building the expertise of our transport planning practice. Working within a multi-disciplinary environment on projects with colleagues in Environmental and Civil Engineering and Buildings to name a few.

You will develop and strengthen our client relationships along with planning and bidding through technical input and advice working with our Infrastructure engineers in the development of scheme designs. Helping prepare for project interviews and to enable the delivery of commercially smart solutions.

**Is this role right for you?**

We are seeking the following skills and experience;
- Transport planning experience with knowledge of either Transport Assessment, policy and design for active travel or public transport.
- Proven experience in a senior role working in consultancy or public-sector environment.
- Understanding of development requirements and implications of multi-modal transport impacts
- Demonstrated experience in the planning process for developments
- Interest in producing business cases and undertaking wider economic impact assessments.
- Experience with spreadsheet analysis and spreadsheet-based models
- Knowledgeable user of data analytics and mapping tools (GIS) and able to interpret quantitative transport models
- Have knowledge or an interest in developing digital skills such as data analysis or Python coding and helping mentor more junior colleagues.
