Would you like a role supporting the mental health of young people?

**_Supporting young children and adolescents _ _aged 11_ _ to 18 with trauma, mental health and behavioural challenges as well as Looked After Children_**

This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for the successful mental health assistant to work alongside the therapists and psychologists based on-site at school. In this role you will build frontline, practical experience with young people with significant needs andlearn to understand how to communicate and support them, through the help of trained professionals and experienced team members. Plus you will gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs such as Autism and ADHD. This is a great opportunity for anaspiring educational or occupational psychologist, therapist, counsellor, teacher or even criminal justice officer

The Secondary Mainstream School is looking for a Mental Health Assistant/Teaching Assistant who can bring enthusiasm, passion and experience to the classroom. They are looking for a SEN TA who will be proactive and adaptable and be able to use their owninitiative. Resilience and confidence to work with challenging behaviour is desirable

- £65-£80 per day
- Full-time Mon-Fri 8.30am to 3.30pm
- Ideal for Psychology/Counselling Graduates
- Experience is not essential but desired
