**Reed Talent Solutions**are working with a Manchester based NHS Trust to recruit a CAD BIM Technician on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Design Manager, the post-holder will be a dynamic and qualified individual responsible for maintainingTrust sites existing digital building database, using industry standard BIM / CAD software systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Working within the P&ED team this involves the identification and delivery of requirements from the BIM/CAD Models and Drawings (Revit & AutoCAD), liaison with external consultants/contractors, and Operational Estates teams, to enable the BIM and Data teamto become the focal point for all drawings within the Trust.
- Function as part of the P&ED team and manage models and drawings across the MFT Estate. They will provide a full range of data validation support, including the organising of digitalised data on the CAFM system, organising manual documents, and ensuringthese are archived in an accessible format and digitalised within a set programme of works.
- Assist in creating detailed construction and mechanical/electrical plans where none currently exist using information gained from onsite surveys, interpretation of written/verbal information and using technical design knowledge.
- Maintain the in-house BIM/CAD standards, updating as appropriate and will also contribute to the definition and development of BIM/CAD activities ensuring procedures are implemented and maintained with compliance always in mind.
- Provide direction and support to the team where necessary to members with varying levels of experience on a range of projects as well as training staff to produce drawings in line with the MFT standards and provide guidance for staff in the use of BIM/AutoCADsoftware

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience of working with BIM/CAD (AutoCAD/Revit) systems is a collaborative environment
- Degree level equivalent CAD Arc Technician Qualification
- Ability to thoroughly analyze/check plans and work at a very detailed level for extended periods is essential to ensure layouts of patient serving systems e.g. medical gas are accurate/verified
- Knowledge of BIM/CAD standards (ISO19650,AEC, BS1192)
- Thorough knowledge of building/construction and mechanical/electrical systems to interpret and draw plans used for development and maintenance if the Trusts estate
