Servol Community Services is an established, forward-thinking independent charity providing support and accommodation for people experiencing mental health problems in the West Midlands and London.

We have an opportunity available for a **Night Concierge **to join us based in high-support recovery unitin**Tooting, SW London. **You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, we are offering acompetitive rate of **£10.25 per hour and some great employee benefits.**

**Servol Community Services** provide a service for vulnerable adults who experience mental health conditions.The support staff provide the daily support required for clients and as our **Night Concierge** you will provide proactive security and safety for all clients, cleaning, health/safety/welfare checks and other admin and incident reporting duties. Security of our scheme for both clients and the building is of the utmostimportance. You must therefore ensure that you are alert at all times during your shift and offer a consistent attention to all callers, clients and visitors to the building.This role works alongside a Waking Nights Recovery Worker for the majority of theshift, so lone working experience would be advantageous.

Your working hours will be 9pm - 9am, 4 nights on and four nights off in rotation over any one week/month/year (including weekends, bank holidays and cultural/religious events).

**Key responsibilities of our Night Concierge**:

- Provide a courteous, professional and welcoming atmosphere for all clients, their representatives and visitors to the unit
- Carry out regular visual and sensory checks of all areas of the unit, including all external doors and windows and smoking areas
- Be responsible for the health & safety of the clients and their guests, including fire exits and evacuation pathways are kept clear
- Take careful note of handover information from the staff on the day shift, and accurately update all relevant records where changes or incidents occur
- Where there are concerns for a service user’s safety or welfare, follow all processes immediately and advise on-call manager
- Ensure that security is maintained and appropriate measures taken to inform manager/police of any issues; always informing the manager on call of any security/emergency issues
- Answer phones calls professionally and take accurate messages leaving them in the communication book
- Report any incidents via the policy/process and take appropriate action
- Complete all monitoring forms required during each shift to include Health & Safety, Client Activity, Accidents & Incidents

**What we're looking for in our Night Concierge**:

- Current (or recently expired) SIA Door Supervisor licence holder and relevant level 2 security industry qualification
- Relevant experience with working with a wide range of the public who need additional support.Previous experience of working with vulnerable adults is a huge advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Good knowledge of issues relating to the security of a building
- Well organised and able to use initative
- Some understanding of the health and social care industry and safeguarding
