Asc Negotiator X 3

**_There are 3 negotiator roles available, x1 post is 2 years fixed term, x2 posts are 1 years fixed term. _**_This role is a mixture of in office and home working although full time office is available_**

**About the role**
- To understand and be able to evaluate the cost of placements based on triangulating information on provider costs, resident need and local cost modelling tools (e.g. Care Cubed)
- To support on the development of negotiation strategies with care providers based on assessments of value for money and intelligence from brokerage and social work teams
- To update senior management on negotiations and escalate where appropriate.

One negotiator will work closely with the Brokerage team and will be managed by the existing Lead Negotiator. This role will be a two-year fixed term contract.

The other two negotiators will work within our Commissioning team, focusing on annual inflationary uplifts to existing care services. These roles will be one-year fixed term contracts.

All roles will also work in conjunction with various social work teams within the department.

**About you**

Knowledge / experience of using web-based case management systems (e.g. Mosaic)

Experience of brokerage processes and systems

Working knowledge of Care Cubed and other cost modelling tools

Ability to analyse financial data and draw conclusions from it.

Proficient in Excel and other data analytics software

Experience of negotiation, ideally in a social care context but not necessarily

Available as soon as possible
