Sales Assistant

13hrs per week plus scope for overtime & increased hours.

To include working every Sunday and 1 week day (preferably Thursday but negotiable)
- applicants must be flexible to pick up additional hours when required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an outgoing and motivated individual to join the team of this Ladies Fashion & Gift Boutique in Birkenshaw.

Applicants will be customer focussed, great motivators and team players, be great communicators and have an excellent eye for detail. You must have a passion for clothing and homewares and be a natural, confident ‘People Person’.

**THE ROLE**:

- Customer Service
- Personal shopping
- Cashier Duties
- Merchandising & Stock Replenishment
- General Floor Duties including cleaning & tidying
- Accepting deliveries & processing
- Stockroom organising & re-stocking
- Sales advisor - aiding customers in their purchases
- Any other duties required by the Retail Supervisor or Management.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous experience in a similar environment essential
- Experience of personal shopping or one to one customer sales preferred.
- Experience of Visual Merchandising preferred
- Experience in Ladies Clothing retail preffered but not essential
- You should be passionate about clothing, fashion & home decor
- A good level of general education, including a good knowledge of computer and IT systems.
- Flexible, dedicated and committed
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work and contribute as a member of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well under pressure
- An excellent eye for detail and a commitment to excellence are paramount.
