**Your Role**
To work as a part of a team that taste and evaluate savoury snack products of various flavours.

**Major tasks/Responsibilities**
- Participate in group discussion work (both live and online sessions)
- Carry out sample tasting and related computer based analysis work
- Carry out sample tasting and related analysis work using other methods (i.e. written or verbal)
- Learn Symrise's bespoke flavour language Symscript, and maintain own evocation notes
- Additional tasks as set by the panel leader
- Attend all panel sessions punctually and adhering to panel working rules (these will be advised to new starters)
- Follow all health and safety guidance
- Maintain confidentiality

**This is a 12 - month fixed term contract, 6 hours per week. Monday - Wednesday.**
**About You**
Unfortunately, due to the nature of this role, we cannot employ anyone with any food allergies or intolerances. The role is also unsuitable for those who are strict vegans or vegetarians.

**Work Experience**:
Experience is not necessary, as full training will be given. A keen interest in food and flavours would be an advantage for this role.

**Skills Required**:

- Enthusiastic
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible approach
- Good command of the English language
- Ability to articulate findings and record them.
- Some experience with laptops and ipads is an advantage for this role.
- Open to learning
