We have an exiciting opportunity for an office assistant to join us at Lamba Welding Systems. We are a small, family run manufacturing company based in Richmond, North Yorkshire.

We are looking for somone who has ideally had previous experience in accounts in an office environment. They would be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company by performing administrative and clerical duties. They would be responsible for the accuracy of financial statements and information.

Duties would include:

- *Raising day to day invoices* Updating and reconciling financial ledgers* Reporting discrepancies, mistakes or potential fraud to senior management* Researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely fashion* Responsible for ensuring all receipts and payments are booked in a timely manner and that the general ledger is accurate and complete on a monthly basis* Monitor the staff clocking system*

This is a diverse and fast-paced role which requires an individual who is fully committed. Experience with Sage 50 Accounts Professional would be preferred.

Must have the following attributes:

- Work as part of a team as well as individually
- High attention to detail
- Can use own initiative
- Has a positive attitude to a fast pace of work

We are looking for someone to work the following:

- Preferred hours would be Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm

Pay negotiable, depending on experience.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From £10.25 per hour
