**Contract: Permanent**

**Shift Pattern: Part-time, 20 hours per week, 4 hours shifts of 15:00 - 17:00 across 5 days with alternate weekends**

**You’ll help us make health happen by**:

- Managing the laundry effectively including washing, drying and ironing residents clothing, bedding and communal laundry
- Ensuring the laundry room is kept clean at all times and that there’s a regular supply of detergent and fabric conditioner
- De-fluffing the tumble dryers daily
- Managing the collection and distribution of all laundry items to and from residents’ rooms
- Reporting all safety hazards to management, ensuring Health and Safety standards and COSSH are adhered to at all times

Your friendly and approachable demeanor will help you forge enduring professional bonds with colleagues, residents, and their families. You recognize the significance of adhering to high standards, ensuring a secure environment, and meticulously maintaining records. Your attention to detail is sharp, and you take great pride in your work. Familiarity with industrial washing machines and laundry presses, as well as prior experience, would be beneficial. Equipped with robust communication skills, you excel at collaborating across various functions and services.
As we are committed to the care of vulnerable individuals, completing a DBS check is a required step in our recruitment process. Bupa will cover the associated cost of £40.
