Youth Mentor

**We’re excited to be recruiting a full-time Youth Mentor** to shape and deliver the Scarborough portion of the **Achieve **programme, an ambitious new secondary schools programme.

The **Achieve** programme, funded by Anglo-American and the Woodsmith Foundation, aims to **support disadvantaged students to achieve their potential** by supporting their personal development, connections to aspirations, and improving learning and attainment.

We’re looking for a **committed**, **experienced** Youth Mentor who will undertake significant one-to-one work, as well as group facilitation, with a specific cohort of 25-30 young people over 2.5 years.

This is a brilliant opportunity to support **real and positive change to the lives of disadvantaged young people**.

From a personnel perspective, you will be directly employed by North Yorkshire Youth, however you will engage with team members from across organisations on a daily basis to work cohesively as Team North Yorkshire Together.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 29 months

**Salary**: £26,110.00 per year
