**Job **Specification** description**

As a Senior Marketing Executive in Kainos, you will develop and own marketing plans, campaigns or content programmes that fully align with commercial priorities and sales plans to support growth and ambitions for Digital Services Commercial Sector and Practice marketing. Managing your team to execute in order to generate brand awareness and generate leads to fuel the sales pipeline, reporting to key stakeholders within the business on success and delivery against goals.

You will use your experience and commercial knowledge to drive progress, coach your team and maximise the impact of marketing on the business. You will foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders acting as a trusted marketing partner.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- ** D**evelop**ing **and manag**ing** strategy, plans and budgets** - you will create, own and implement the strategy and marketing plan, aligned to commercial priorities. Managing your team to ensure delivery is on time and within budget. You will own the marketing budget for campaigns within DS Commercial Sector and specific Practices.
- ** Owning, c**reating and activating campaigns and content** - you will create, or guide the creation of by your team, campaigns and marketing content to drive brand awareness and generate leads to feed sales. You will ensure effective implementation of campaigns across a variety of channels to achieve objectives. Utilising a range of techniques across your team including eDM, automation/nurtures, webinars, organic and paid social media, SEO/search, digital advertising and physical events.
- ** R**eporting, accountability and ROI** - you will drive marketing effectiveness and ROI reporting on campaigns and activities utilsing a transparent approach via evaluation and analysis. Working with colleagues across Marketing Technology and Ops you will optimise effectiveness and cascade learning through your team.
- ** S**trategic alliances with Partners** - you will develop and foster strong relationships with key partners like Microsoft and AWS to shape your plans and activities, staying abreast of trends to identify new opportunities to drive commercial benefit.
- ** Working as a team with a focus on developing and managing others** - you will proactively work and collaborate as part of the marketing team to deliver against overall OKRs. You’ll manage, coach and develop a small number of staff, with a focus on managing employee performance and assisting in their career development. You will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders of all levels across the business acting as a trusted advisor.

**Minimum (essential) requirements**:

- Significant relevant experience in B2B marketing
- Professional qualification in marketing or specialised area (e.g. CIM)
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns that drive business results and meet objectives - from inception through to evaluation
- Demonstrable experience of marketing techniques including eDM, automation/nurtures, webinars, organic and paid social media, SEO/search, digital advertising and physical events; stays abreast of developments and willingness to coach/upskill team.
- Experience of using CRM and marketing automation
- A self-starter who is highly motivated, confident, focussed, disciplined with a drive to succeed, whilst upholding Kainos values

**Desirable**:

- Experience marketing into private sector industries (FS&I desirable)
- Experience marketing technology services
- Degree or Higher in Marketing, Communications or a similar, relevant discipline
- Experience of managing people
- Experience of owning marketing or content for an area of business, product, or project
- PR understanding and ability to write press releases and liaise with key media
- Event management and project management
- Understanding of generating leads and managing them through to qualification
