We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain & Inventory Manager to join our Procurement department located at The London Clinic's Main Hospital site (Stores department) in London. We are offering a highly competitive salary of £49,500 - £55,100 perannum.

Our Procurement team provide professional procurement expertise, advice and services across the organisation ensuring value for money is achieved, whilst fundamentally supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. Procurement includes: The Purchasing,Sourcing, Supply Chain & Electrical and Bio-Medical Engineering (EBME) teams.

**Job Profile**

The Supply Chain & Inventory Manager will report directly to the Head of Procurement and will maintain close working relationships with the Purchasing and Stores management team to provide a professional and pro-active Supply Chain service. The post holderwill be responsible for implementing a new GS1 Scan4Safety Inventory Management system and transforming how the existing service is delivered.
- **Job Type**: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday.
- **Location**: Main Hospital; Stores department - London, W1G 6BW (close to Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations).
- **Working Pattern**:8.00am to 4.30pm
- **Salary**: £49,500 - £55,100 per annum, which will be dependent upon skills and experience.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide a professional, customer focused Supply Chain service to all user departments and will be the systems manager and Information Asset Owner for the Inventory Management System (IMS). This includes day to day management and operation of the IMS andcontrol of the system database of products, training and implementation.
- Overall accountability for the Supply Chain team (19 FTE), which will include reviewing stock against activity to ensure that stock levels in user departments do not exceed 12 days average usage.
- Review slow moving stock lines and recommend where slow moving items could be redeployed to prevent them expiring or becoming obsolete.
- Ensuring that all store's staff adhere to policies and procedures and working with the wider Procurement team to ensure compliance with KPI's and departmental objectives.
- Provide a Help Desk facility
- first point of call, for all IMS issues, user or system related and ensure all are satisfactorily resolved.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experience in an Inventory Management of stock management systems role (or equivalent), as well as working within a senior stock management role within a complex environment.
- Holder of Advanced Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or similar appropriate professional institute to degree level or relevant qualification (such as stock management or logistics qualifications).
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of stores procedures including: Stock Rotation, Stocktaking, Stock Replenishments and Returns, as well as experience of purchasing procedures.
- Demonstrable experience of advanced statistical and data analysis skills and risk assessment / analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with senior managers and clinicians.
- Advanced IT skills and good knowledge of MS Office suite with the ability to interpret, analyse, communicate and present complex information and evidence-based data.
