An award winning venue, The Banc has won The Best Halal Burger 2017, twice finalist on TimeOut, officially champion in 2018 and consistently 4.5/5 rating on review platforms such as Tripadvisor, Facebook and Opentable.

A great opportunity has arisen for Hostess position at The Banc. Therefore if you are an experienced, customer service focus and versatile individual then you are looking at the right advertisement.

**Applicants must have the following qualities and requirements**:

- Answer frequent incoming calls and address customers’ queries
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Manage reservations
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
- Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name
- Greet customers upon their departure
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Assist wait staff as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Experience using SevenRooms
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Experience in managing reservations
- Demonstrable customer-service skills
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Availability to work in shifts as needed
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-45 per week

**Salary**: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
