**Role Summary**

Full Time cleaning role 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 12:45 - 20:45.

May consider job share.

**Main Responsibilities**

To carry out all required cleaning duties to a high standard whilst following policies and procedures.
- Perform general and office cleaning standards within designated areas.
- Perform clinical standard cleaning in designated areas.
- Clean and management of toilets, kitchens and rest areas
- To clean the main corridor floors using commercial machines
- Manage waste including removal and transportation.
- Clean mirrors, and other glass surface
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Follow cleaning procedures and instruction to always ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Dusting, vacuuming and mopping general flooring throughout the site.
- Carrying out planned and ad-hoc cleaning duties as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Follow the provided Health & Safety information, including risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH at all times. Full PPE to be worn at all times
- Reporting all accidents and incidents as appropriate

**Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ)**
- Promote safety-at-work in accordance with RIFM, Client and Legal requirements.
- Participate in HSEQ training and HSEQ personal development
- Compliance with and commitment to RIFM’s HSEQ policies and procedures.
- Take reasonable care of yourself, others and the environment through your acts and omissions.
- Report any unsafe conditions, behaviours or acts.
- Fully participate in HSEQ inspections and compliance auditing including the completion of mandatory HSEQ training.
- Adhere to the controls described in risk assessments, permit to work and highlight any shortcomings in the existing controls.

**Requirements**:
Experience & Qualifications:

- General experience of cleaning in a Commercial capacity
- Good customer care skills
- Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly
- Knowledge of Health & Safety best practises
- Awareness of COSHH regulations.esponsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and break rooms
- Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Notify supervisor of any maintenance or repair needs

**Skills**:

- Attention to detail: Ability to thoroughly clean and maintain a neat and orderly environment
- Time management: Efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other cleaners to ensure all areas are properly cleaned
- Communication: Effectively communicate with supervisors regarding cleaning needs or concerns
