Export Clerk

Our client a leading Freight Forwarder based in the Farnborough area.

**Duties and responsibilities ofFreight Forwarder Export Clerk**:

- Completing Air export consignments from start to finish, including completion of MAWB's / HAWB's and customs entries etc.
- Overseeing consignments during transit / post flights.
- Completing Sea freight consignments, including preparation of export documents, BL's, completing entries & executing VGM's.
- Booking LCL / Loose & FCL / Full containers.
- A high level of customer services, both written and verbally.
- Completing quotations for clients globally.
- Communicate at a high level, both internally and externally with suppliers and clients.
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in exports.
- Be able to work as part of a team or alone when required.
- Be able to complete consignments from beginning to end completing all requirements i.e. completing documents and completing required customs formalities.
- Be able to liaise professionally with clients and keep the client updated as and when required.

**Desirable skills**:

- IATA Danger Goods certified.
- Forklift License.
- Knowledge of IATA Carnet processes.
