**About the team and role**:
As Procurement Lead you will be working hand in hand with our procurement team, work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, and fundamentally transform the procurement experience for staff and suppliers. Reporting directly to the One Programme Director and working with the Head of Procurement, you will lead the implementation of new process’s, software systems and our pioneering new initiative with Oxygen Finance to transform the way we do business around here. The role is wide-ranging and includes leading, strategy formulation, planning, analysis, system implementation, reporting and stakeholder management. This opportunity will support your professional growth and development within an organisation that empowers you too bring your new ideas and help us development the organisation.
**About you**:
To achieve the objectives for this role, you will have a real depth of procurement experience and understand the impact procurement has across the wider organisation. You may well have previously managed changes in the procurement process, implementation of new systems or ERP implementation experience is highly desirable, as is your knowledge and experience of procurement. You are not on your own. You will be part of the One Team Programme team, working with colleagues from other functional areas to provide a connected approach for everything we do. You will have a shared vision and be an ambassador for all aspects of procurement. You can see the benefits of new ways of working and translate that into a vision of the future-state of procurement across GCC. You’re an optimist, enjoy working collaboratively, and always keep the end user at the forefront of your thinking.
