Kitchen Porter

**Kitchen Porter / General Catering Assistant** with the ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised in a busy environment is required for a well-established school trust based in Harrow, North West London.

**SALARY**:£10.00 per hour + Benefits

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Kitchen Porter / General Catering Assistant with the ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised in a busy environment.

As the Kitchen Porter / General Catering Assistant you will support the kitchen and food & beverage teams, ensuring all kitchen areas are clean and tidy and all crockery and cutlery is prepared in order to ensure smooth running of the service.

The Kitchen Porter / General Catering Assistant will help the team to provide a positive dining experience to the guests. You will work in a fantastic environment.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as a Kitchen Porter / General Catering Assistant will include:

- Daily cleaning of all kitchen areas, staff canteens and kitchen corridors
- The washing of all kitchen equipment for the chefs and all crockery and cutlery for the restaurant service staff
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean during service times and that all walk through areas are kept clear of any obstruction and that floors are kept dry
- Communicate effectively with all staff

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
- Ability to follow strict instructions in a systematic and consistent manner
