We currently have a vacancy for a warehouse operative working continuous days 6am - 6pm 7DC.

Role overview
- To receive, handle and despatch goods safely and accurately at the lowest cost, by best use of the warehouse management system.
- To carry out tasks that contributes to the overall duties of safe and efficient warehousing. This is to include storage, handling, picking and locating of all finished goods, empty pallets and raw materials on both sites in accordance with Quality Procedures, Environmental Procedures and Health and Safety Procedures.

Main responsibilities
- Work with a RF scanning system to complete tasks as issued through the warehouse management system, on a timely basis to meet production and despatch deadlines.
- To liaise with all relevant departments and job functions in order to facilitate the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouses.
- To liaise with the Supervisor on the reporting, corrective action or preventative measures required overcoming any issues, which may affect the efficient operation within the warehouse.
- To maintain administrative procedures for the efficient running of the warehouse.
- To perform Internal Safety Audits as required.
- To participate in continuous improvement activities to improve the efficiency and safety of the warehouse.
- To operate the mechanical handling equipment safely and conform with all safety requirements associated with the equipment - Reach, counterbalance.
