Overview:
The role of Studio Assistant & Retoucher is a part-time position working 3 days per week to support with digitally retouching imagery created both in the in-house studio and from external parties, while also supporting the studio in general.

**Responsibilities**:
**Retouching**:

- Perform high-quality retouching on a range of imagery, including on models, lifestyle photography and product cut outs.
- Enhance the overall quality of the imagery by adjusting colour, tone, and texture in accordance brand guidelines and aesthetic.
- Collaborate closely with the in-house photography studio and creative team to understand project requirements.
- Stay updated on current industry trends and retouching techniques to continuously improve the quality of our imagery.

**Asset management**
- Responsible for the tagging, storage and distribution of final assets.
- Ensures all imagery is sized correctly to support correct delivery across marketing channels.
- Provides clear and effective communication to the wider creative team, updating on progress, key dates, and deadlines to ensure the smooth delivery of targets.
- Manage your own time and complete tasks to a set deadline.

**Studio support**:

- Help to set up appropriate lighting, props, and backgrounds to create believable authentic settings and enhance the visual appeal of items.
- Support on the planning of photoshoots in line with a brief and campaign objectives.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with a creative team.
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders.

**Experience**:
**Knowledge, **Skills** and Experience**
- Previous retouching experience is essential
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop or similar software
- Working knowledge of Capture One Pro
- A full Driving License
- Strong planning and organising skills with an ability to work on their own initiative
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to work to and meet deadlines
- Looking for a creative person with a great eye for detail
