**YOUR ROLE**

The primary focus of this position is to contribute to the visual effects offering to a range of Craft’s clients. You will be a key team member working on projects, helping to train and lead more junior members of the team and provide shoot supervision when required.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**

Implement and oversee the **VFX, CGI, XR and Unreal Engine** capabilities within the post team whilst reporting into the Head of Post. Work closely with Producers and the extended Craft team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Advise on best ways of working for new briefs
- 3D modelling & animation, rotoscoping, compositing & clean up
- Identify partners in this area
- Provide feedback on best practices
- Working with Producers to deliver on timelines and budget
- On set shoot supervision
- Assist the Head of Post in scoping and quoting for new work
- Mentorship of junior members of staff and assist in VFX ops growth and proficiency

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Expertise in both 2D and 3D platforms, such as **AFX, C4D and Nuke**:

- Experience from a short form production advertising agency
- Strong understanding of integrated production
- Previous experience at a mid to senior level and ability to train others
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to implement, track and report on a project
- A team player and results driven
- Forward-thinking, positive and curious
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Effective independent problem solving
- Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Ability to liaise and work directly with clients

**BONUS EXPERIENCE/SKILLS**
- Virtual production experience and technical proficiency
- Ability to use Unreal Engine
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
