**Finance Intern (2-3 months)**

Reporting to the Record to Report (RTR) Team Lead, this Intern opportunity will be within the Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC) in our Manchester office.

The role will involve completing accounting activities for business units in designated regions. In this internship you will get exposure to processing journal entries, completing reconciliations, maintaining relevant business unit general ledgers, fixed assets accounting and executing closing activities

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
- Execute accounting activities such as, but not limited to journal entries, intercompany billing and confirmations, bank reconciliations and cash management activities, accounting reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, other account analyses and closing activities.
- Promptly respond to information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Support a culture of high performance and collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Operate in a hybrid work environment.

**REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS**:

- Aspirations to move into an accounting role.
- Advance Excel skills - V lookups/pivot tables
- Good attention to detail.
- Motivated individual who works well with others.
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting processes
- Experience with making accruals, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, other closing activities is preferred.
