- Experience of working with Kingsland punches/guillotines/cold cut saw and band saw

- Willingness to work overtime as and when required

The Role

Reporting to the team leader you will:

- Work to keep the shop floor clean and tidy. Produce cut, punched and drilled steel parts under guidance. Keep all workshop spaces clean and tidy, Put tools and consumables away after use, Clean canteen and toilet areas. Drive up to 3.5t vans to assist with small deliveries and collections, Prep hire items for stage work, keep vehicle fleet clean, help out with all forms of production where possible.

In this role you will get to work on a number of exciting TV projects, including being part of the team that makes the set for Strictly Come Dancing. The role is mainly based at our site in Chadderton, Oldham but will occasionally involve working off-site, including the studios at MediaCityUK in Salford and on-location elsewhere in the UK.

A weld test will be carried out as part of the interview process and the successful applicant will be offered a permanent position following completion of a three-month paid trial.

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour
