As a Barclays Treasury Controls Business Partner, you will be part of the Finance Controls team, closely aligned with the broader Chief Controls Office (CCO). The team is an integral part of Barclays’ increasing emphasis on sustaining and strengthening an effective control framework, to meet our business needs, meet regulatory requirements and deliver upon our core values and commitments to all our customers, clients, and shareholders. This role is primarily aligned to Treasury Controls, in addition to supporting the broader Finance function.

**What will you be doing?**
- Managing and providing the full range of control services to the Finance Function to support risk management across the Controls environment
- Developing and maintaining relationships with senior colleagues and stakeholders - with a detailed grasp of the Finance controls environment
- Ensuring control frameworks are implemented and managed effectively across aligned businesses, functions and horizontals
- Driving improved and sustainable controls culture through use of data led relevant indicators to ensure Control Forums are insightful and risk focused
- Monitoring key indicators, providing insights to leadership to oversee their risk profile including analytics covering root cause analysis and thematic trends
- Supporting Assurance delivery for identified process areas and provide leadership through Design Effectiveness Assessments and Operational Effectiveness testing
- Deploying knowledge and expertise to assess, predict and mitigate future risks whilst guiding the business, functions, and risks on using the Control Framework
- Managing and coordinating regulatory inputs to control reporting, briefings and governance fora; acting as point of coordination of Regulatory updates

**What we’re looking for**:

- Effective written and oral communication skills, and ability to present to senior stakeholders. Ability to comprehend, implement and drive improvements to a risk & control framework
- Experience in Treasury/Product Control/Financial Control/Regulatory reporting and/or Auditing, preferably in Financial Services

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Excellent Excel skills including extensive experience in managing large quantities of data, pivots, formulas, Vlookup
- Experience with Data Analytics tools and technologies (such as Alteryx, Tableau etc.) would be an added advantage
- Formal Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
