Warehouse Assistant

We require an enthusiastic person to fill a full-time role, alongside one other, in our Warehouse at our busy distribution centre near Wellington. The required hours are 9.00 a.m. - 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday (37.5 hours).
- Receiving goods inwards, checking and booking in
- Preparing stock items for despatch, packing neatly ready for collection by a variety of couriers
- Preparing pallets with equipment for collection - will entail the use of fork truck
- Liaise with the sales office to ensure the daily movement of goods runs smoothly
- General tasks to include stock-taking and maintaining a tidy store
- Shared tasks to include fork truck maintenance (battery top up, charging, etc.), company delivery van to be kept clean and well maintained
- There will be opportunities to undertake deliveries - usually within a 50-mile radius

This appointment is varied and will suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a team, and can remain calm under pressure.

A clean driving licence is required and full training for the fork truck will be provided, as necessary.
