Reporting to the Quality Assurance and Compliance Lead, this post forms part of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Team to support the delivery of the Trust’s Quality Strategy and vision to ensure ‘Excellent Care for all’ through the delivery of safe, effective and high quality services, that ensure the people who use our services, their families, carers and visitors receive a positive experience.

Quality Assurance and Compliance Officer (Band 5)

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to make a real and significant difference to the lives of patients, families and service users.
- Deliver the day to day systems and processes to support effective quality assurance and compliance across the Trust.
- Provide support and information to clinical and non clinical colleagues to deliver improvements in the safety and experience of our patients, families and service users.
- Support a culture that improves quality by enabling the delivery of high quality care through the effective identification of lessons/areas for improvement and promotion of learning as a result of data analysis and investigation, using audit and evaluation cycles to seek assurance.

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust provide hospital and community services from a number of community and specialist clinics throughout Croydon. The Trust was formed on 1st August 2010 through the integration of Croydon Community Health Services and Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust. Around 4,100 staff provide services for a population of over 360,000 people who are relatively young with a high level of ethnic diversity.

Our main hospital site, Croydon University Hospital is one of the busiest in London. We’re also leading the way in providing more healthcare outside hospitals at clinics, specialist centres and in people’s homes. Our experienced district nursing teams, Allied Health Professionals and community matrons look after people of all ages across Croydon and our Children’s Hospital at Home cares for children with long-term conditions without them having to come to hospital.
