First Class Learning Centre in Strood is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging **Afterschool Class Assistant** to join our team You'll play a vital role in providing a stimulating and supportive environment for children aged 5-16, helping them explore their interests, develop new skills, and have tons of fun while learning.

**What you'll do**:

- Supervise children in a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring their well-being and engagement.
- Assist with a variety of afterschool activities, homework support, and educational workshops.
- Encourage creativity and exploration, helping children discover their individual talents and interests.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative atmosphere, ensuring all children feel included and respected.
- Assist with setting up and tidying up the afterschool space.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.

**What we're looking for**:

- A genuine passion for working with children and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children of different ages and personalities.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for planning and facilitating engaging activities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Patience, understanding, and a commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
- Experience working with children is preferred, but not essential.
