Weigh, mix, pack and label sample flavours according to specific recipes and by following operational procedures and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise with the Samples Manager and/or Samples Planner to collect a formula (recipe) required to prepare a specified quantity of a special powder mix which has been previously developed by a technologist
- Study the formula and bring together all the necessary ingredients from the appropriate storeroom to prepare the required quantity of the sample
- Weigh and mix individual ingredients to weights specified in the formula and according to specified methods
- Pack off and label the samples ready for dispatch to the customer
- Maintain appropriate stocks of sample containers, dispatch boxes, foil pouches, spoons and other sundries necessary for the dispatch of samples
- Ensure that the appropriate paperwork (e.g. specification/health and safety data) is included with the sample.
- Train factory operatives as relief /replacements in the preparation of customer samples

**You bring**
- Good math skills to read and weigh up formulas
- Detail orientated and ability to work with a sense of urgency. Handle multiple projects in an organised methodical manner
- Ability to follow proper lab procedures and safety policies. Ability to carry out repetitive procedures.
- Good communication skills. Computer literate. Work effectively as a team member. Ability to show initiative/pro-activity
- Minimum Level qualifications - good GCSE or A Level. Experience of working in a laboratory would be beneficial, but not essential
