Are you looking for hands-on work in a fast-paced environment? We are currently seeking one assembly operator for our client based in Southend on Sea on temporary basis.

As an Assembly Operator, you will be working with a team of skilled professionals to ensure that production targets are met on a daily basis.

Main duties:

- **Assembling Components**: Assembling mechanical parts or components according to specifications, using hand tools, power tools, or machinery.
- **Inspecting Parts**: Inspecting parts for defects or damage before assembly and ensuring that all components meet quality standards.
- **Fastening and Securing Parts**: Fastening or securing parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, welding, or other methods as specified.
- **Testing and Adjusting**: Testing completed assemblies to ensure proper functioning, and making adjustments or repairs as needed.
- **Maintaining Equipment**: Performing routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- **Documenting Work**: Recording assembly activities, including any issues encountered, adjustments made, or parts used, for documentation and quality control purposes.
- **Collaborating with Team Members**: Working closely with other team members, such as engineers, technicians, or quality control personnel, to ensure efficient assembly processes and resolve any issues that arise.
- **Meeting Production Deadlines**: Completing assigned tasks within designated timeframes to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Keeping work areas clean and organized to ensure efficiency and safety in the assembly process.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identifying opportunities for process improvements or cost-saving measures and suggesting them to supervisors or management.

Shifts: Monday till Friday 0800-1700

Pay rate: £12.11 per hour.
