Overview:
Element has an opportunity for a Chromatography e-Learning Specialist to join our CHROMacademy team.

CHROMacademy is the world’s largest e-learning platform for analytical scientists. It supports the career development of over 80,000 chromatographers globally. Implemented as the core training program in a vast array of lab and industry areas.

We are looking for an enthusiastic analytical scientist to join our team of technical content writers to produce e-learning training material across the range of techniques covered within CHROMacademy. This role is UK based.

The role can be office and/or remote based, with an expectation of regular on-site attendance at our Strathaven office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creation of e-learning content for the CHROMacademy platform across all training topics (new content and updating existing content)
- Design and presentation of monthly online webcasts
- Technical support through Ask the Expert function
- Scoping/production of multimedia e-learning content (animated, interactive, video based etc.)
- Potential for crossover with our face-to-face training team (development of training material, presentation of training material)
- Opportunity for customer facing demos

Skills / Qualifications:

- Minimum - undergraduate degree in analytical chemistry or similar
- Previous experience working in an analytical laboratory using chromatographic techniques
- Practical chromatography experience (HPLC/GC/mass spectrometry) is essential
- Good theoretical knowledge of HPLC (MS), GC (MS), and related laboratory techniques
- Fundamental understanding of analytical chemistry
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
- Highly motivated and self-starting
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
